Following a strong recovery from a back injury at the end of last season, Olly Stone is back with the Potential England Performance Programme and will fly out to South Africa this weekend. The 22 year old fast bowler has been training with the rest of the group at the National Academy in Loughbrough and the 6 young players will now fly out to Potchesfstroom. Under the lead of fast bowling coach Kevin Shine, the group will then travel to Johannesburg to join the senior side for their one-day preparations.

The group includes Tom Helm of Middlesex, Derbyshire's Tom Taylor and the Nottinghamshire and Essex pair Luke Wood and Jamie Porter. The Sussex left armer Tymal Mills also joins the group after working on fitness following a back injury like Olly.

"Its great to be back on the PEPP" said Olly "After suffering the stress fracture to my back last year I wasn't sure whether my fitness would be good enough in time but with the help of the science and medicine team at the club, I'm feeling great. The training at Loughborough has been brilliant and I'm looking forward to heading out South Africa".
