Northants Cricket Annual Golf day took place on Thursday 4th August, 2011 with numerous fourball teams taking part against or with players from the Steelbacks squad.

Corporate guests braved the rain at the lavish De Vere Staverton Park, enjoying breakfast before watching the amazing skills of Rob Brown, who performed an hour long trick shot show. This was followed by 18 Holes of Staverton Park’s Championship standard Golf course.

Guests were then treated to a superb three course private dinner and an awards presentation that saw the Barclays Corporate Bank team win.

Alan Bindley, Relationship Director at Barclays Corporate Bank said, “My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed the Northants Cricket Golf Day at Staverton Park this year. The event was very well organised, the course in superb condition and the pre-match trick shot show was very good indeed. The post game dinner and prizes presentation carried on the well organised theme and it was good to see the event supported by so many staff and players from the club. I am sure we will be back again next year when hopefully the weather will be kinder to us all”

Northants Cricket Commercial Manager Keeley Rawlinson added, "The day was a great success from start to finish. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, as did staff and players from Northants Cricket. Even the rain couldn't spoil the fun!"
