Former Northants all-rounder Steven Crook is today to launch his new single, 'Time for Heroes'. The lead singer of Juliet the Sun will be playing live at the Picturedrome in Northampton at their official launch party on Wednesday October 7, from 7.30pm onwards.
The band has recently shot into the spotlight after it was revealed that 'Time for Heroes' was the motivational song behind England's victorious Ashes campaign and has since been featured in all the national printed press, on national radio stations and also in this month's edition of Look! Magazine.
Crook said: "It is a really exciting time for myself and the band. Our single 'Time for Heroes' is now available to download from itunes and it would be great if Northants fans could get behind our push to get the track to number 1 in the charts!"
Crook's band ambitions were first revealed in the very first edition of Northants Cricket's magazine 'The Steelback', and their success has since snowballed from there.
After unfortunately succumbing to a series of injuries, the cricketer has focussed exclusively on his music, and by the sound of his first release, his efforts will pay dividends.
Northants Cricket wish Juliet the Sun all the best for their first single release and will be following Steven's music career with interest!
