Huge crowds are expected for the two biggest matches of the Steelbacks' year, which finally begin at the County Ground, this Friday. Northants are ready to take on Ponting and his Australian side in a 3-day tour match (24th-26th
July 2009) following England's recent triumph at Lord's, and shortly after they will have the home advantage against the Hampshire Hawks in the Twenty20 Cup Quarter Final (Wednesday 29th July 2009, 5.40pm).
Tickets are still available for the two popular matches; Australia (from £6.00) and Hampshire Hawks (from £5.00) but they are selling extremely well. The club is advising fans to purchase tickets in advance or risk missing out on the opportunity to see two major matches in Northants' 2009 season.
Mark Tagg, Chief Executive of Northants Cricket said, "Supporters are advised to buy their tickets early as they cannot be guaranteed on the day, the two matches are sure to have fantastic cricket on display for the supporters, and Northants are incredibly privileged to be one of only four counties to play the touring Australians."
Pre-order your tickets today on 01604 514 455 to avoid any disappointment.
