Following a fantastic win against Middlesex in the LV County Championship last week, Head Coach David Capel has announced a 13-man squad for the trip to the Brit Oval starting tomorrow at 10.30am.

Unsurprisingly, David has kept faith in the XI who beat Middlesex, but depending on conditions at the Brit Oval, Graeme White and Paul Harrison complete the squad. Depending on pitch conditions, the team may feature a stronger batting line-up as Northants look to get more batting bonus points.

Harrison has been registered to play first-class cricket for Northants, after impressing all season with consistent batting displays in the top order of the 2nd XI, and David was keen to stress that, "If Paul does get the opportunity to play against Surrey, it will have been a fully deserved chance."

The 13-man squad to take on Surrey is: Stephen Peters, Niall O'Brien, Rob White, Riki Wessels, Alex Wakely, Nicky Boje, Andrew Hall, Johan van der Wath, David Lucas, Monty Panesar, Lee Daggett, Graeme White and Paul Harrison.
