Following prolonged rain at the County Ground today the umpires had no choice other than to move the game to the reserve day tomorrow. All tickets will be valid for Thursday and play is scheduled to start at 5.30pm.

The game will be rescheduled as a full twenty over a side match with the winners going forward to the finals day at Edgbaston on August 15th.

Commenting on the disappointment Chief executive Mark Tagg said "it is so frustrating for all the supporters that we have had to move this game to Thursday. I still anticipate great support from those who can come along but I would expect that some are unable to make the reserve day. The Northants supporters have been very loyal to us this season and I would like to repay some of that by offering those who cannot come an alternative. If spectators who cannot make Thursday hang onto their tickets complete with counterfoils then we will accept those at any of our remaining Pro40 games INCLUDING Tuesdays floodlit game against Lancashire"
