Northants Cricket supporting Children in Need.

Northants Cricket staff, coaches and players are doing their bit for BBC’s Children in Need appeal with selected events and features taking place today at the County Ground.

All staff have paid to stay in their pyjamas today, and it’s ‘bring your teddy into work’ day too – joining the team for one day only is ‘Bluey’, ‘Grumpy’, ‘Pooh bear’, ‘Kanga with Roo’, ‘Hugs’, and ‘Broc Obama’. (A broccoli shaped soft toy named after the U.S President!)

Other money raising efforts include a cake sale, a Lunchtime cricket match in the Lynn Wilson Centre and a ‘naughty word’ jar.
