Stone wraps up victory at Canterbury

Ollie Stone snapped up three last-morning wickets to help complete a crushing victory for the combined Northamptonshire and Kent side over Warwickshire in their Second XI friendly at Canterbury.

The young County pace bowler finished with 4-15 as the Bears were dismissed for 143 in their second innings - losing by an innings and 154 runs.

Useful support came from Luke Evans (2-17) while Lee Daggett, Mohammad Azharullah and Matt Spriegel claimed a wicket apiece to ensure an early finish.

Northamptonshire supporters keen to run the rule over some of the club's promising youngsters might fancy a trip to Oundle Town's Milton Road headquarters on Saturday April 20 for a one-day friendly between the host club and NCCC Academy.
