The Steelbacks will be looking to make amends for the Family Day defeat to Nottinghamshire Outlaws this Friday evening when they take on Sussex Sharks in a floodlit Yorkshire Bank 40 encounter here at the County Ground.
One Day skipper Alex Wakely will hope to secure victory over opposition who also lost their first Yorkshire Bank 40 match of the season, suffering a 91 run defeat to Worcestershire.
Head coach David Ripley looks set to stick with the same XI who took to the field against the Outlaws. David Willey comes back into the squad but looks set to be rested ahead of the Leicestershire LV= County Championship match next week.
Youngster Ben Duckett looks set to retain hold of the gloves ahead of David Murphy as Olly Stone and Matthew Spriegel as look set to make their 2nd apppearances of the season.
The only injury concerns within the squad remain that of James Kettleborough (Broken finger) and Rob Newton (groin) – Rob should be in contention for the Leicestershire match however.
