Northants Cricket has announced a Community Day at the Yorkshire Bank 40 match versus Warwickshire Bears on bank Holiday Monday 27th May.
A superb way to enjoy the Bank Holiday Weekend in Northampton, cricket fans will be able to experience world class white ball cricket action as well as many entertaining interactions for the whole community.
Interactions available on the Community Day include an exclusive ‘Ladies area’, where ladies can enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival, and other features include a pamper area with Fong Spa, Christie Ellen Hair, Maria’s Beauty Box, Simply Beautiful and Captains Tortue Group Clothing.
For juniors, we have a bungee run, and a ‘Teddy Bear picnic area’ with face painting, a County Ground wide Treasure Hunt where prizes will be available, and a ‘Bring a Bear’ competition where the best teddy bought in on the day (as voted by Steeler!) wins a prize as well as a ‘Draw your perfect Teddy Bear’ competition.
Northants Police are also in attendance ready to speak to members of the community and provide information.
And if that’s not enough activity, we have a Mascot battle during the interval – Steeler the dog will take on Barci, the Nando’s mascot and Warwickshire Bears’ mascot Hugh.
On the day, Ups and Downs in partnership with Briggs and Forrester will be involved as the official charity of the match, conducting bucket collections and giving out information.
There will also be a raffle on matchday and Nando’s have provided Free meal for 2 vouchers for Hot Seat winners.
