Trent Copeland to return to Northants

Northants Cricket is delighted to confirm the return of Trent Copeland to the County Ground for three of the final five LV= County Championship Division Two matches of the 2013 season.

The Australian performed superbly for the County with bat and ball in the first half of the season, taking 36 wickets at an average of 16.25, and scoring 197 runs at 49.3, to help Northants to the summit of the LV= County Championship Division Two table before his return to Sydney.

In the Yorkshire Bank 40, Trent also took 14 wickets at an average of 13.6 to cap off a hugely successful spell here in Northampton.

Head Coach David Ripley said, “This news will give everybody involved with Northants a lift. Trent made an outstanding contribution in his first stint with us, both on and off the field, we look forward to welcoming both him and his wife Kim back to the County Ground.”
