The Steelbacks host Glamorgan here at the County Ground on Sunday in a key Friends Life t20 game, which will see the top two teams in the Midlands/Wales/West Division go head to head.
The Steelbacks put up a strong fight in a close loss to Somerset last Sunday at Taunton, which was the team’s first defeat in the competition after two excellent wins here at the County Ground against Gloucestershire and Warwickshire.
Glamorgan currently sit top of the group having won 3 from 3 and are looking extremely strong in the competition this season. With players such as captain Marcus North and Kiwi Nathan McCullum in the side, they will be a tough test for the Steelbacks.
Before the Steelbacks v Glamorgan match, there will be a Kevin Curran Memorial match starting at 11.00am. The game will see a Northamptonshire Legends team take on a Gloucestershire Legends side in a 12 over match, in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Gates will open at 10.00am with tickets costing £13 in advance and £15 on the gate and the tickets will cover both games.

There are a few changes to the team that faced Somerset last Sunday. Graham White has returned to Nottinghamshire following his very successful loan period here at the County Ground.
Coming into the team will be Stephen Crook who returns from a spell on the sidelines due to injury and James Middlebrook also comes into the team.
Andrew Hall suffered an injury in the LV= County Championship game against Lancashire this week so is unavailable for the game on Sunday.
