Northants Stars Visit Local Hospital

On Thursday several members of the Northants squad, along with the Northants Cricket mascot Steeler the Dog went to visit the children on the Disney and Paddington wards at Northampton General Hospital. Some of the players and Steeler also visited our number one fan Ricardo who is currently in hospital.

All of the children were ecstatic when they saw their visitors, as Northants Cricket went to spread some Christmas joy. This visit comes only a week after the Steelbacks took part in the charity driving challenge at Silverstone, in order to raise money for the hospital.

The players including Alex Wakely, Stephen Peters, David Willey and Steven Crook came to the hospital, bringing gifts in the form of sweets for the children. The players also brought the T20 trophy that they won this year, for the children to have photos with. Everyone had a great time and we hope to visit again sometime in the New Year.
