The Steelbacks overseas player, Richard Levi has arrived back in Northampton to be a major part in Steelbacks’ 2014 NatWest T20 Blast campaign.
Levi played a key role in the Steelbacks’ T20 success last season, as his big hitting helped the Steelbacks start their innings off quickly and put the opposition under early pressure.
In 2013, Levi scored 360 runs at an average of 32.7, this included a brilliant 110 not out against Gloucestershire, which was the highest score of the tournament. Levi is known for his powerful batting at the top of the order, last season he had a team high 57 boundaries which included 18 sixes, the third most in the entire competition.
On his return to the County Ground, Richard said, “It’s great to be back and be somewhere you’re familiar with, and I’m looking to forward to being part of the Steelbacks team again this summer, after winning T20 last year.”
