- Northamptonshire County Cricket Club was founded in 1878 and became a First Class County in 1905. In our 132 year history we have been fortunate enough to have seen many of the all-time greats of the game play cricket for Northamptonshire at the County Ground, and we continue to strive to bring a dynamic, professional and entertaining brand of cricket to those of all ages!

The County Ground Events Venue
- The County Ground is a unique venue set in the heart of Northampton boasting one of the largest multi-purpose indoor venues in the region and is the ideal venue for large scale conferences, events and exhibitions. Ideally located with excellent links to the motorway network, and within minutes from local railway networks. Over 200 parking spaces are available on site and all access is either at ground level or via lift access.
