A consistent bowler, Lee has enjoyed his most successful season for Northants during 2011, taking 41 wickets at 35 in the LV= County Championship, and 9 wickets at 24 in the CB40 - providing able support to strike bowlers Jack Brooks and Chaminda Vaas.
Lee previously represented Durham UCCE and British Universities. Whilst at Durham University he took 8 for 94 against Durham, and was named Durham University's Sportsman-of-the-Year in 2004. He made the breakthrough into Warwickshire's first-team into 2006 impressing while playing five Championship games, but found his opportunities at the club limited. Northamptonshire snapped him up at the end of the 2008 season. Lee has gone on to represent Northants regularly, making important contributions with the ball in 2011
